The Romany Wagon Where The Cats Live

This little Romany gypsy wagon is Pumpkin, Chino, Chas and Rosie’s house. They
live there in a life of luxury. In fact, Rosie was born in there along with a little brother
and sister who were sold when they were four months old, and their Mum has gone
to keep Granny company because she lives on her own and is very lonely.

The Cat’s Home

They are very spoilt little cats in the winter. Mum puts a couple of hot water
bottles with covers on, in their bed every night and a duvet on top so it’s nice and
warm for them to lie on. They look so sweet all snuggled up together. Mind you,
we’re spoilt as well. If the weather is very bad we are brought in and our stables are
piled high with straw to keep us warm and of course we have plenty of hay to eat.

One day Mother’s friend Lindy had been over to see her and when she got out of the car she left the windows open because it was a very hot day. When she left to drive home in the evening, she closed them back up as it had turned a little chilly.

After she’d been driving for a couple of hours, she heard something move in the back of the car and wondered what on earth it was. She pulled over on to the hard shoulder and stopped to investigate. It was Rosie.

She’d sneaked into the back of the Car when Lindy arrived and had a snooze and didn’t wake up again until Lindy was half way down the M4 motorway

Rosie

So of course she had to turn round and drive all the way back with her. Mum hadn’t actually realised that she was missing so when she saw a car driving up the drive in the dark she wondered who it was and had the shock of her life to see it was Lindy again with Rosie.

She got out of the car and put her down on the ground then Madam flew up her favourite tree and started to play peep bo.

Before she left Mum made her a large mug of coffee to help keep her awake on her long journey home. By the time she eventually got there she was so exhausted and fell straight in to bed.
