Crispin is Psychic

He was so, so tiny and his Mum and Dad's pride and joy.
When he was just 2 weeks old there was a very violent thunder storm.

It was no ordinary storm, it turned very cold and strange things were happening, then some of us spotted two ghostly objects flying around in the sky and we could here laughter.

We were all very, very frightened and didn't know what on earth was going on. There was a very bright flash of lightning which not only lit them up, but all the sky and surrounding countryside as well.

Minutes later the rain just fell out of the sky and little Crispin was so frightened he just didn't know what was going on.

Then there was another bright flash, followed by a terrific crash and a thunder bolt landed in our field just close to Crispin, Crystal and Dustin and: from that moment on,

 Crystal and Dustin have never been seen again.

Crispin was standing all on his own in the pouring rain crying for his Mummy and Daddy.

Heidi, one of the mares in
the field, realised what had
happened to little Crispy and
kindly adopted him.

She bought him close
 to her and said,
"Don't cry little one I
 will take care of you.

She had some milk to
feed him with, because her
own baby died at birth
two days before.

Heidi was so happy to
 have a foal again as she’d
 been so sad since she
 lost her own little baby.

Within an hour the rain had almost stopped and the sun was coming out and there was a lovely rainbow.

 The field that run along the side of ours was flooded. we were very lucky that we didn't all drown.

Heidi is a wonderful Stepmum to little Crispy, and he adores her and doesn’t leave her side for long. None of us can understand what on earth has happened to his Mummy and Daddy.

It’s a complete mystery.

Then, one day, Crispin suddenly pricked up his ears and he could hear something that none of the rest of us could...He neighed and neighed and rushed around here, there and everywhere.I asked him what he was doing? He said, “I saw my mummy and she told me she would always be watching over me to make sure I was safe.

Then, suddenly:
 Crispin pricked up
his ears and said to
Heidi. “I can hear
Mummy neighing
to me.” Heidi said,
“no you can’t Crispy,
 you’re just imagining
 it” and Heidi asked the
 other ponies if they
could hear anything?
but they all said.
“they couldn’t.”

but Crispin was
adamant that he
 could hear her. He
neighed and neighed
to her again and
he said, “she was
neighing back saying:
that she would always
 be around him to
 make sure that he
was safe. But still
none, of the other
 ponies could hear her.

Then suddenly, Crispin could here his Daddy as well, and he was saying:
“BOTH MUMMY AND I … LOVE YOU BABY”
