He said, “I just wondered if the little pony in the field is for sale?” |

An hour later he arrived back home with me in toe. Mum came out and looked at us both in utter amazement and said. “Simon what on earth are you doing with that adorable little pony? And where did you find it?”. He said. “I’ve bought him for you for your birthday Margaret.” Mum burst into tears and gave him a big hug and said, “Thank you so much darling” then she gave me my first of many cuddles to come. Mum decided to call me Bubbles. |

A week later, on a beautiful spring morning Mum came out to check us to make sure we were both O.K. and to her utter amazement could see what looked like a fox sitting beside Princess but as she got closer realised that it wasn’t a fox, but a little chestnut foal. |

Jacky very kindly said that they could keep baby, but of course she would like Mum back when she returned home from Australia. Mum decided to call the little filly Fairytale - partly after her mother and partly because: The story was a fairytale. And so my home became known as... Fairytale Pony Farm. |
